Academic Performance

Confluence Academies is organized as a Local Educational Agency (LEA), entirely independent from the St. Louis Public School district in which it operates.  As such, the State of Missouri issues an Annual Performance Report and other performance measures for Confluence as an LEA in addition to the measures provided for each of its individual schools.

Please note that 2010-2018 the Confluence Governing Board operated Grand Center Arts Academy as a separate LEA, with separate performance results reported for that LEA.  In 2018, the governing board added GCAA to the Confluence Academies LEA, with GCAA performance scores being included in the Confluence Academies LEA reports beginning in 2019.

We provide comparison of Confluence Academies’ performance to that of St. Louis Public Schools, the State of Missouri average performance, and to individual schools near the Confluence campuses that serve the same community or are otherwise similar to Confluence schools.

LEA level comparisons are provided below.  More detailed comparisons for the individual schools are available on individual campus pages.

In addition to the required Missouri state assessments, Confluence  utilizes locally administered assessments to guide instruction throughout the year.  Confluence provides their full Assessment Plan on their website.
